"Although the exchange rate hurts us, without a doubt we will continue to book our walking holidays through you guys. The service alone is worth it but the walks were also unique and spectacular as were the hotels and very detailed walking packs. We loved that you guys pick less common (and therefore not horribly crowded) locations for your walks and we truly felt we were in places we'd never have visited otherwise.

"We just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help and kind attention leading up to and during this trip. I know I asked a lot of questions and got quite picky but each of you were always patient and helpful. So many other companies would brush you off."

"The Austria walk was breathtaking (especially the last few days) and Day 6 was probably our favourite day view-wise all up" June 11

"I was very impressed with the level of service provided. This is our third holiday with On Foot and we are always impressed with the professionalism and Simon's call to offer an alternative to a noisy hotel (since changed, I know) went above and beyond the usual service. The region hotels and walks were superb - I am a convert to the region. I would throughly recommend advising people to book a seat at the open air opera at Bregenz Festival during August if they travel then." Aug '10

"The routes were on clearly marked paths, we never got lost!  Enjoyed using the ski lifts / chair lifts with the use of our complimentary pass. Particularly enjoyed coming across a refreshment spot with local food and cold beer on offer, surrounded in beautiful scenery and the sound of cow /goat bells never far away perfect as we enjoyed lovely sunny weather. As it was hot it was refreshing to cool yourself with the remaining snow on the peaks." "I was delighted to sample this new On Foot walk in its first year of operation and I am certain that it will be a success, if you can get the marketing right. It is the most unspoilt Alpine scenery I have ever been to, and the hotels are a real find - all family run and rooted in the soil. Ingrid introduced me to her fiance. who is a mountain rescue person. and she was clearly very proud of that. We toasted them both in the local blueberry schnapps, though he stuck to coke as he said he was on duty."  June '10
