Route summary
There's a lovely choice of accommodation offered on this route; from friendly pensions to traditional Portuguese houses ('like staying in a museum'), through to the amazing pousada (a converted monastery with a grass roof), at the end of the route in Santa Maria do Bouro. For those staying longer in Porto, our hotel is quietly-located near the sea only 15 minutes bus ride from the city centre or you may prefer to spend a couple of nights in a lovely self-catering cottage in the old part of town.
