ARRIVING BY AIR

 

The best airport is Prague.

Land by: 15:00 for bus/train connections to Mala Skala (no time limit if using taxi)

ARRIVING BY RAIL

 

Nearest Railway Stations:

Outward: Mala Skala

Return: Prague

  

Typical rail journey from UK via Brussels:  London: Eurostar to Brussels Midi Eurostar, transfer to Brussels Midi for overnight train to Berlin Spandau, change onto early morning train to Pardubice and there onto local train to Mala Skala.  ~22.5 hrs.    Prague: Express train to Berlin Hbf and change onto night train to Brussels. Transfer to Eurostar platform for the first train to London St Pancras International.  ~16.5 hrs.

Getting to the start of the walk:

The first hotel is in Mala Skala and the final hotel is in Prague. Best airport is Prague.  See below for suggested transfer methods.

 

PRAGUE AIRPORT:

Outward:  by bus, metro and bus or train 3 hrs, OR Pre-booked taxi transfer from Prague airport to first hotel c. 1½ hrs.   

Return: Metro then bus c.1 hr or local taxi.

 

Transfers from railway stations:   

Outward: Hotel a short walk from Mala Skala station

Return: Local taxi or metro to Prague Central Station
